I am finishing up my short bed project and was curious if anyone has successfully accomplished the modification of a factory long bed sport bar so that it fits a short bed. I searched here and have found a lot of info on measurements between the two but wanted to know if it has actually been done? How tough was it, and if there are pics out there of the process. Pete M Posted September 13, 2022 Share Posted September 13, 2022 if a trade is an option, location matters. those things are a real bear to ship. as to modifying it, the rear bars mount in the same place on the upright, and the same place on the fender. the angle/length changes.
