Jeff's Jeep
I had to drop the trans to replace the slave cyl and clutch on my 89 Comanche 4.0L and a friend removed a couple hoses that were in the area on the passenger side of the BA10 trans. I can't seem to find where they go , one is a rubber hose about 3/8" and has a white plastic looking end about 2" long like it fits in a hole somewhere , the other is two 3/8" hoses running together and at one end join together with a metal T like connector making them both run into one metal outlet . My friend took these off and now is unable to come back and tell me where they came out or off from, but they where hanging down on the passenger side of the trans and I can't find where they go so it will be a real big help if someone knows just where they hook back up to ? howeitsdone
Sounds like either vacuum lines for the transfer case which go on the back or the breather lines for both the trans and transfer case that go on the top of each.
Jeff's Jeep
Howeitsdone I know and have the vacuum lines hooked to the transfer case already these lines are about 3/8" rubber lines and one with a white plastic end like it plugs into something the other 2 seem to run together and are connected on the end with a kind of a metal T like fitting making them hook to something as one . Any help is welcome though Thanks!
howeitsdone
Could be breather hose as mentioned. Does the white "connector" look like this? Photos would help.
cruiser54
Breather lines for trans and transfer case. Held on by the uppermost trans to engine bolt on passenger side.
