ghendel Posted May 28, 2022 Posted May 28, 2022 A mouse decided to live in my glovebox for about a month while it was getting some body work done. Got rid of it, everything was fine for a bit, then my right speakers (both door and rear) decided to stop working. I pulled the plastic paneling on the passenger side and traced it back as far as I could and all the wiring looks alright. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the front harness? Not sure how to squeeze up into that space... there is also two random purple wires that are not connected to anything. Any help would be appreciated, never done this before
eaglescout526 Posted May 28, 2022 Posted May 28, 2022 Did you check your radio just to make sure the mouse didn’t get up there and make a mess? The speaker wiring should go from the radio and down into the doors and rear speakers.
ghendel Posted May 28, 2022 Author Posted May 28, 2022 Radio harness looks fine from behind the unit until it goes out of view. Any tips on pulling out the glovebox?
eaglescout526 Posted May 28, 2022 Posted May 28, 2022 Glovebox is with the dash. Your best bet is to pull the lower dash assembly and the little cubby under the glove box to get a good view of what might be going on but you might lose it too as the wiring goes up under the glove box itself.
