Floor pan and inner frame rail

Recommended Posts

Hey, I have an 89 Comanche. Bought it knowing it had some rust issues. Pulled the carpet out to clean up everything and get a better idea of where I'm at rust wise. Passenger side front floor pan and and rear floor pan on the outside of the frame rail are gone. Driver side, front floor pan is gone, couple small rust areas in the back. But when i cleaned up everything, the inside of the frame rail, where there is a double part where the transmission crossmember is, is heavily rotted and chunks are missing.

Questions I have, what have you done to repair the frame where it's rotted away? And does the half floor pan from the Cherokee fit all the way to the back of the cab? More so the transmission tunnel lines.

Thanks

they already make that (meaning left and right pans, not a full-on pan).  you can find them on ebay.  :L:

I installed a set on my last mj. The overall fit is good but the MJ doesn’t have the divots in the floor that are in the key parts pans. Just installed their rockers though and they were perfect.
