Muncher
Having a hard time finding any info on these small wires and the orange wire on the black part of the ignition switch. I'm wiring in a push button start so can someone help me figure what they do?
Ωhm
Looks like Connector C268. I3(orange) should be Power Window Circuit Breaker/Clock fuse feed. Smaller gauge wires would be used for the purpose of Bulb Checking (G1_G2) (Brake bulb_Coolant bulb). B3 is Fuse_Link_F.
Muncher
Thank you! So basically this should stay in the actual ignition switch or wire it to like a secondary wire like how the blower motor and all that is wired to?
Ωhm
What's the goal here? Totally eliminate the IGN SW. Big job if so. I believe there're kits out there.

Ωhm
Bulb checking is a function performed during CRANK. It requires switching to ground (small gauge wires). This will light the lights (BRAKE_COOLANT) letting you know the bulbs are GOOD. You may lose this function unless you can come up with some Relay logic (switch to GND) for these circuits during the CRANK cycle. I’m not sure what to say about the ORG wire except it’s a HOT in RUN circuit. Wiring here is most confusing. Seem to affect certain Clocks/certain Radios circuits. Not much help here. Muncher
If i just keep my orginial key in the key slot and these wires just plugged in still will they still retain function even with the main power wire not connected ?
Ωhm
The small gauge wires (SW to GND), when connected, would Bulb Check when the KEY is SW to the CRANK position. The ORG wire (C268_I3) would require a 12vdc feed (C268_B3) from a HOT circuit and the KEY needs to be in the RUN position.
Muncher
Ok so I should be good then because I don't have power windows or a clock anyways for the orange wire to do anything for do the small wires can stay in the ignition plug.
