Readers Rigs yellow MJ!

Have I been under the internet rock!? Did it miss this site!?

 

There is a bitchin' Cummins powered MJ in the latest issue of Petersens 'Readers Rigs' magazine. . I saw some of the Carolina K-5 guys on the cover...had to buy it. When I opened the pages and saw that yellow MJ.. :eek:

 

I would have to give it a ten for creativity, coolness and coolness. 8)

 

Anyone have the skinny on it?

No info on that.. but there is a guy on a local board selling a Cummins, trans, and t-case with all wiring and junk for like 2500

lol I just saw your video on youtube and I invited you to the site not knowing you were a member. That rig is amazing! could you please post up some specs and more pictures that thing rocks!!! :cheers:

I tried to find a factory yellow 2 door XJ before the Comanche got painted blue, but I changed my plans.

I was actually thinking about Painting my Comanche Yellow, I have access to some bright high gloss, and rediciliously thick paint that is used to paint the CL-415 waterbombers, I've had the luxury of building a few of them and snagging the paint that was time expired (shelf life) and the nice thing about it is applied properly it'll mask anything cause it's so thinck, and the colour helps to hide a bit too. The only thing you really have to be very cautious about with this paint more so than other paint is the temp and humidity.

 

It'll be a lil while before I do that, on account of the 5 foot snow banks (and Growing) and the -25C weather.
