89 MJ
I have done some looking online on this question and I never found what I was looking for. Has anyone trimmed their front fender flares so that the bottom of the flare was even with the bottom of an OEM front bumper? You seem to see a lot of trucks missing the air dam, and this seems like it would be an alternative to replacing it and making it less likely to catch on things off road. scguy
I did it on my old Waggy. Debated doing it on my MJ, but don't want to ruin the flares just yet. Just haven't seen a straight air dam like ever. Also, I miss that Waggy like crazy. I couldn't afford one now in the condition it was in. Paid $800 for it back then, sold it for $1600. That was exactly what I was looking for. That definitely was a good looking rig!
