parked since 04 because of carb issues, is one of the 50 2.5tbi motors what is the best carb to replace it? truck has 77000 miles on it.

Carb? 86 has Renix Throttle Body Injection. Sure you can swap to a carb but you’ll probably get less power out of the 2.5L than you would keeping the TBI. Unless you got one of those really rare and odd orders of your MJ having a carb set up.
