Swampthing
Could they have found a harder place to drain the radiator on the 87 Jeep Comanche? The problem that I have is, that the hex on the eared ( wing nut) is stripped. So trying to open it to drain the antifreeze is going to be a chore. I think that I will pull the battery, and try to get a wrench on it. Any ideas?
AZJeff
I agree that that the rad. drain is in a HORRIBLE location. Most guys resort to removing the lower rad. hose where it connects to the radiator. I agree with this approach. It is what it is....
howeitsdone
I removed the grill and had great access to the petcock. YMMV

Swampthing
It I can’t get it from the front grille removed, I will try the bottom hose.
Parei_doll_ia
I always just take the lower hose off, it's faster, easier, and gets more junk out. Remove the efan to get access so you don't get hot water in your face. The new CSF rad I put in doesn't even have a petcock there
