Does anybody know if stock mj tank straps will work with the dakota tank or will I have to custom make a set? Thanks for the help. AZJeff Posted August 7, 2021 Share Posted August 7, 2021 No, they will need to be modified to pull the tank as far over to the “frame” as possible. In the best of conditions, there is only about 1.5 inches of clearance between the rear driveshaft and the tank at the front end, making sure that stays that way necessitates strap modifications.
