1989 Comanche fuel sending unit

Hey everyone, I have a 1989 carbureted Comanche just ordered a new tank but can’t find a replacement sending unit. Would appreciate the help

Carb?! 89?! That doesnt make sense. You should have either the 4.0L MPFI Renix system or the 2.5L TBI Renix system. 86's only had the 2.8L that has a 2 barrel Rochester carb and a 2.5L TBI Renix.

Well... It's possible it was swapped to something.  Send pics.  If you meant 1986 and it has the 2.8L then you want an MTS JPSU-5

now I could be mistaken! The motor is (2.5)original has 157,000 on in. So I need to be looking up the renix system?

So the 2.5L from 86-90 is Throttle Body Injection. Which is a step up from being carbed. I do have some OEM sending units. MTS also makes new ones. You just need the right one for your tank size. 18 and 23 gallon tanks share the same sending unit. 16 gallon is a special one.
