89 MJ Posted April 30, 2021 Share Posted April 30, 2021 The engine is, the wiring is not. 87-88s have a C101 connector and a different ECU. I’m sure there are some other differences too, but if you are just swapping engines and not the wiring, it will all work. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
scaleless Posted April 30, 2021 Share Posted April 30, 2021 However the wiring harnesses do swap and swapping to get rid of the C101 is pretty popular.
