yeah that figures.

seems so crazy to me as its biggest production year, but I guess Chrysler cared more about going forward with the jeep name than preserving the past.

Well its not so much that the biggest production year or Chrysler wanting to literally wipe AMC away from public knowledge, its more of back in the 90's before everything went digital, there was a flood in Chryslers basement where they foolishly stored old documents like build sheets and what not which is why alot of 84-86 Jeep build sheets are incomplete.
