Rubber Windshield Trim

I had a new windshield put in my Comanche when I got it and at the time I didn’t know about the late model rubber trim upgrade. Well now we’re here and I don’t want to cut the window back out. Does anyone know if the rubber trim can be installed without removing the windshield before I break all the clips taking my trim off just to find out I’m up the creek.

You have to install the rubber trim on the windshield before it's installed.

I figured that would probably be the answer I would get. I’ve pulled the rubber trim on the back window before and put it back without any trouble so I was hoping even though it is supposed to be installed with the window I could get it in without replacing the windshield.
