What did it entail exactly? something tells me that If i am the first one to do it...it might be a bit of a hairy situation

 

how much shorter is the front end of an 86 compared to an 87?

the comanches are identical all years from cab forward no matter whether or not it is a longbed or shortbed. there may be some minor differences between early 86 and mid 86 firewalls. also, the only other difference is the front radiator support changes to the 4.0.

 

I've changed that rad. support, it's no big deal.

 

now, yes, someone HAS done the 4bt swap. i don't know who. the truck is yellow.

now that you mention it, i do remember that fellow posting it up on here...maybe someone else remembers as well?
