dakal Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 i replaced my cps with a after market one for $55.00 including freight from rock auto. they sent me two, and charged me for two. when i told them, they would only refund the money, not the freight. i was charged twice on freight. enough said. turns out i had a problem with it. intermittent acceleration. my mechanic said he had this problem before, i changed to a factory one, as he did, problem went away. i checked the difference between them. better wiring on the factory one. dealer cost for cps $44.00 no freight. learn from my problem. now if i need sensors, only factory ones.
Eagle Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 Roger that. Same for clutch hydraulics, for those of you who drive standards.
DirtyComanche Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 Dealer CPS is over $100 here. Aftermarket is about $50. It's really sweet. Of course, I have a perferctly functioning CPS attached to my bell-housing. And it doesn't do anything  Too bad I bought a new one when I did.
