Column gear selector

Hey guys, can any body point me in the exact location the gear selector clips to?

 

Yes it’s removed from my old cluster but the PO never had it attached and I’m stumped on where to put it

If I understand your question correctly... then the clip and cable comes out of the bottom of the instrument cluster and the clip attaches to the rear edge of the steering column.  That part of the column that rotates when you select a gear.  Where exactly, I don't remember if there is a hole or other indicator of where to put the clip, but basically you adjust it so it reads correctly.  To move the red pointer further left or right, move the location of the clip on the column.  Hope this makes sense.  Someone else will probably post a pic.
