I am not sure if I am calling the part the right thing but I am talking about the big pulley at the bottom of the serpentine belt routing for the 2.5l. Are there any tip to go replacing this? mjeff87 Posted December 12, 2018 Share Posted December 12, 2018 Rent the puller from the local parts store....don't try to McGyver the thing off any other way. On a 2.5 you can carefully get away with pulling it without pulling the radiator, but it's safer if you do. Replace the front seal on the timing cover while you have the HB off, it's cheap and worth it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Once its returned its a zero cost to you, so why not have it on hand? At least my local place the removal and install are two separate tools.
