i seen somewhere on this site where Napa 715-1367 with work but they reference to the 88 -90 models. Factory also refers to a different product number for 87 vs 88-90. Anyone have any inside info on why the difference?

Thanks for that but I also show only fits 88-90 and doesn’t fit the 87.  Would you know why the difference?

there are some differences between an 87 and an 88 MJ, but I'm unaware of one that would prevent that kit from working just fine.
