RDAN1
I'm trying to replace the headlight switch in my 88 and finally got it removed but in the process broke the plastic cone the switch attaches to in the dash. I believe it can be repaired but it would have to be removed to do it. Has anyone removed this portion of the dash that can advise how to do it? It appears its secured by a couple of rivets below the dash and a couple of screws in the dash. Is that correct? Thanks for the help!
youngfred
... The PO busted-out the plastic cone on mine, as well. Contacted J W Auto Wreckers about the riveted plastic piece and they wanted to sell me the whole Dash Metal Frame that runs from pillar to pillar. I rigged something up, from my bolt bin, in order to make it work. It's a bit shaky but it's holding up okay, so far . youngfred
