1990 XJ seats in a MJ

Why would the drivers side mount be different on only the bucket seat?
And according to the drawing, both front brackets are shaped completely different where they meet the floor...no they're not. They mount in the same spot on the floor. So the drawing means nothing.

The only thing I can say that might be true to the difference is how the actual @$$ part of the seat sits. The cushion padding is different thickness/height between the two maybe and the rear mount MIGHT be taller to make up for that difference and change your @$$ angle. Maybe.

Yes, I still have my 89 MJ.

I had butchered the brackets somewhat, to be able to use the "Curved" track. 

The Rear of the Driver's Side of the MJ's Bench Seat Bracket, only has the Outside Floor Mount.

I had to get the Bucket Seat Brackets, as my Bench Brackets were shot.
