I've disabled that feature as we're going to be archiving remote images on the site soon enough. To get those remote CL images entered, do something like this using the SOURCE function in the editor: <img src="https://domain.com/path/to/img.jpg" />
kryptronic
I see that turning off the image proxy also caused all your good/bad/rusty pics to come up in your recent post. And most of the posts you have here. So, I guess you know what to do.
Bonkers
This is the coding i used to do for my prior GBRs: [1img= xxx.xxxxxxx.xxx] Which always worked fine. Just for clarification, its the image proxy not running the code thats giving me all the headache? If the image proxy were turned on, will the <img src= > coding bypass the proxy? I see that my pics are now working, but i don't want to mess anything up with the site. I'm trapped by my ancient tech, i will feel bad if it hinders anyone else from enjoying the site. That proxy should not have been on and that's what was causing you issues. We are about to start archiving all remote pics posted to the site (see pub thread) so it needes to be off anyway. Your old method of posting images seems to work fine now.
