Best place to buy a used Jeep?

I'm in the market for a 96-98 Grand Cherokee and have been combing craigslist for the past 2 weeks with a couple good canidates. I'd like to see more options though, anyone know any good used car sites? I refuse to buy a car on ebay or out of state, just too much hassle for me.

 

How about dealerships? I've never delt with one before other than for parts so i'm alittle intimidated...

I'd give www.cars.com a try. There, you can narrow it down to the state, and look through dealerships, and if you have a vehicle in mind for trade, they have a trade in allowance and loan calculator. Just an idea for ya, HTH.

There's so many of them out there, but it took me like 6 months to find the one I wanted. I bought mine used at a dealer. This dealer was the exception. I noticed some new parts on it, when I inquired about them, the salesman produced the work order showing everything replaced. Like $1500 worth of parts I haven't had to mess with, and its been a great ride. Not many dealers do things like that anymore, if ever, they just send it to the auction. Hope you find what you want.
