87Warrior Posted August 25, 2017 Posted August 25, 2017 I am in the process of refurbishing the top end of my '86 2.5L and have run into a snag. I need to find a source for the (4) studs that screw into the intake manifold that the throttle body is bolted down with. Any ideas where to buy those or tips on what to search for when shopping? :dunno: Thanks!
HOrnbrod Posted August 25, 2017 Posted August 25, 2017 The p/n is J4007314 (84-96 2.5), but don't think that'll help you much as they are listed as NLA parts, as usual. Hopefully you will get lucky.
Big Dan Posted August 25, 2017 Posted August 25, 2017 I've got a spare intake manifold that has one broken stud. Ill try and see if I can get a good stud out.

Even though I didn't find replacement studs, the part number led me to the correct thread/pitch and was able to use a die to save the stud. Now I'm just waiting to get the head back from the machine shop.
