AMC86Kid
i think i figured it out the smaller skinny bracket helps block out the brake line
AMC86Kid
now all i need to figure out is how to make a rod to hold the valve in the correct level
HOrnbrod
Read the below. The bracket you pictured doesn't have anything to do with the rear brake proportioning valve. It looks like a front fender inner support bracket. http://comancheclub.com/topic/16955-adjustable-mj-load-sensing-valve/
AMC86Kid
ok thanks i will try to make the rod should the level on the valve be in parallel to the rear axle ?
HOrnbrod
About like the below slightly above parallel) seems to provide the best results. Or you can just tie-wrap it in place until you make up a new arm.
AMC86Kid
will do thanks
ParadiseMJ
About like the below usually works best. Or you can just tiewrap it in place for the meantime. I'm very happy to know that mine looks just like this picture. My old rod was toast, bent on one end and broken on the other. I also found all the stuff I needed at ACE...ball joints and all. :brows:
