How many people that don't do their own work and want a 29 year old somewhat obscure pickup truck?

None of the people I know that would be interested would want to spend a lot of money.

I don't think a full repaint will net any more money than buffing that.  But that's me.  If I owned that truck I would buff it and touch it up, then decide if I was happy with it or not.  And I'd probably be happy, because it would be good enough, and short of really going at it and doing a proper full repaint I doubt it would be much better.

There are a lot of people out here that own vintage vehicles that don't their own work on them. It's not like the rest of the country. But there is a lot of money out here too. Average cost of a home in LA is about 600,000. And that's nothing special. I think your idea on the paint is good sound advice. That's the way to go with it. Thanks, you have good rest of the weekend.

Jeep Driver, you are right on the money. I just painted mine and it was right at a grand. I used an off brand paint made by Sherwin Williams, and white is the cheapest paint. Pulling the bed is easy enough. I swear I had the biggest moron possible paint mine, I am a terrible judge of character I guess. I wanted to do mine from the beginning but my wife talked me into hiring it done to save time. Grrrr. Where I live you have to do everything yourself if you want anything done right. I plan on retiring in 10 years and I might get out of here. We both have pretty good jobs and I will have a nice pension I can't give up or I already would be gone.
