omega_rugal
i was reading the modes of operation of the Renix ecu and that during the "crank mode" if wide open throttle is detected the inyectors would shutdown, to clear any flooding.... btu what about the ignition? does the spark is shutdown too? Ωhm
No. Your trying to start the vehicle and you don't need any more fuel.
omega_rugal
ok i get that also there`s a crank signal coming from the relay to tell the ECU the engine is being started, if this wire is not connected, it means the ECU will stay in "key ON mode" and thus not start? damn it a HEI won`t be that picky... Ωhm
Should just tell the ECU to shut off the fuel pump relay during crank. Starter relay will supply battery voltage to the fuel pump. By-passing the ballast resistor. Disregard this foolish statement I made. ECU does not shut off the fuel pump relay.
