rocketwheels
So what is the proccedure or order of operations getting the speedo cable back onto the instrament cluster? I can't get my hand up inside from the back far enough, and there is not enough slack to slip the clip on while sliding the cluster into place. You guys that do thisall the time, how do you go at it? mattbuch96
I ended up taking off the clock in the right side of the cluster and putting my hand through that way. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
buckwheat
For me (I have huge hands) I found that I needed even more room than just removing the clock panel. So I went underneath and removed the speedo cable from the retaining bolt right below the firewall. This is outside the cab. This gave me enough slack to push the cable into the cab and pull the gauges out a solid foot. Plenty of room to work and fiddle with connectors.
