Mj sender units

Hey all, and everyone's infinite wisdom. Does anyone know if a 23.5 gal mj tank sender unit work in a swb 15.5 gal tank?.....please tell me it does lol. I have two big tank units and one small and the small is shot to hell and back.

Mj 4.0 sending units should all be the same.

The sending units are the same electrically, but the float arms are longer in the 23.5 tanks. The arm might not have enough room for full travel in a smaller tank so you may have to shorten/bend/alter the float arm to make it work.

 

And there no 15.5 gal tank in an MJ. What truck do you have??
