On the four bangers there is a switch on the power steering pump that bumps the idle up when cranking the steering wheel into the stops. The switch may be stuck closed. Disconnect the wire connector from this switch and see if the idle drops down. A leaking vacuum line will also cause a high idle. Check for disconnected and/or broken plastic vacuum lines.
