Archaeor
I just purchased a 1989 Comanche Pioneer 4x4, 4.0L, 5-speed. Today, after driving it around, I noticed this loose hose hanging down underneath the tranny. I got underneath and ran my hand above the tranny/transfercase and it felt like it comes out of the top of the tranny/transfercase. I have no idea what it is or where it's supposed to connect. The end hanging down has a mounting bracket and about 3-4" of aluminum tubing attached. What is it, and where does it attach? Archaeor
Thanks! :) So should the end of the tube point up or down, or sideways?
ParadiseMJ
Up. The other end should have a plastic vent valve on it to keep water out. The plastic tip and hose should stick up inside the engine bay on the firewall.
