Hello!

Its really hard to find parts for the Comanche here in europe, and even harder in the northernmost parts of europe. I can find Cherokee parts real easy, but searching for Comancheparts here has been a real struggle. Been trying for almost a year now, but it seems I have to open the wallet and actually find parts in the US and get it shipped to Norway.

I wonder if there's any of you that has parts, and would be willing to ship it here? I'd pay for the shipping ofcourse. As the title says, I'm interested in Comanche spesific parts. A new tailgate, taillights, and rear bumper is the highest priority for me.

Any help is good!

I shipped a bunch of stuff to Australia a couple years ago and prior to that, I used to sell custom leaf packs on line.

The biggest pain in the keester was making the arrangements to get things from my state to a harbor shipper, arranging the transfer from USPS, UPS or FedEx to the container shipper and ensuring they got the items in the correct container for it's final destination.

I had to build a long box using cedar fence boards to safely ship several long roof rack pieces and stainless trim for an XJ to Australia.  Shipping the box to California was $75.  The Aussie said that the shipping via ship container was another $120 and took 4 months to arrive as they wouldn't send the container until it was reasonably full.

To send a pair of leaf packs to Iceland cost $600 U.S.  plus the cost of the leaf packs.  That was ridiculous.

With that said, Roar Nesbo......... you might get better response to your request for parts if you figure out the shipping arrangements prior.  If someone knows how they'd need to package the large parts, where they need to go and who to contact to notify them that the parts are coming, that'd help a whole lot.  Shipping a bumper and tail gate to Norway sure seems like it'd take some logistical planning.

Yeah it wouldn't be cheap thats for sure. I imagine it being in the 3-400 usd range. I am not too familiar with shipping systems in the US, so I was hoping someone with knowlege of it had done similar things before. But I'll definately check out alternatives.
