Sevik Posted May 25, 2016 Author Posted May 25, 2016 oh wow! whole discussion went sideways haha I am ABS supporter, I've been in rally for 6 years and all vehicles equipped with ABS showed better results and crashed less often, it also does not decrease braking distance, that's just a myth as ABS will not engage before wheels are locked, so applying pressure on the edge of locking the wheels have exactly the same performance with or without the ABS, but once you lock them... [Traction control is another topic, US vehicles with TC are total crap, but now I drive BMW and love how it works!]
Sevik Posted May 25, 2016 Author Posted May 25, 2016 Just back to the topic, will Dana 60 be a worthy upgrade over 8.25? Looks like a nice and beefy axle, but then I just plan to run 33s.
DirtyComanche Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 I'd run the 8.25" with 33s. Better ground clearance, less weight. Depending what the D60 is out of, it might be a half mile wide too (well, 65"+).

DirtyComanche Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 If I was going to spend that type of money it would not be on a rear D60, especially not that setup. I will post the long form answer of my reasoning if you want.
