Is there any front LCA I can take off of other Jeep's that will work in my 1990 MJ 4x4 conversion? The ones I have are trashed and just need to find a cheap replacement.

I've read that the TJ lower control arms can support up to a 3" lift. Is this true or should I just bite a bullet and pay for new ones?

I believe the TJ lowers are around an inch shorter then the XJ/MJ control arms. I believe the WJ rears are around 3" longer then XJ/MJ arms though, and commonly used.

Ok cool! Thanks for that guys! I've built a number of XJ's but always just bought them new. I just want to keep this build cheap and easily to replace if necessary. I have about 6 junkyards around a 40 mile radius so this will be easy to find!

Just use WJ front LCAs OP. They are the same length as the stock MJ/XJ arms, and will support up to a 3" lift with zero problems. You'll just have to throw in a shim or two on each side to correct the caster angle.
