tylergrant2011
Does anyone know how to fix a cracked block just above the freeze 3rd freeze plug on the driver side rather than buying a new block. It's a 87 comanche i6.
shelbyluvv
My buddy JB welded his and drove from NC to TX. He is still driving it with the JB weld on it. Drain the coolant, clean the block with carb cleaner and then apply the JB weld. Let it sit for 24 hours before filling it back up or starting it. jimoshel
Try drilling a small hole on the ends of the crack. It will keep the crsck from spreading. Don't know how many cracks I've filled by JBWeld.

64 Cheyenne
What size bit would you recommend and how deep Real small, smallest that you think you won't break, and drill all the way through to the water jacket. Because the crack is all the way through...
