What's it worth?

I have a AX15 internal slave trans I got with my Comanche when I bought it. The p/o like a lot of us was little bit of a parts hoarder and was getting out of the life when I came along.

 

My question is what is one of these worth in unknown condition?

 

The reason I'm asking is a few weeks ago I was at the junkyard and ran into a guy looking for one and I told him if he can't find one he knows is good to get a hold of me and I'd dig this one out of MY hoard pile.

 

Well he called me back tonight so I guess I'm digging tomorrow to see if it's got what he needs.

 

But I don't know what these go for,I'm not looking to make out like a bandit but I don't want to give it away either.

Just to get an idea, I went to the web site of the pick n pull yard in Washington state.  Their price for a standard rear wheel drive transmission is $99.99 plus a core charge of $29.99

 

That is an as is where is transmission.  It is a starting point for you.

Upick yard here is $230 with core...

And junk yard "credit" if returned...same as above with Unknown condition

Just out of curiosity Does anyone know the core charge for one of these is?

 

I ask because none of the junkyards/rebuild shops around here have one so I can't find what they want for a core and that's pretty much what this is to me.
