Knucklehead97
I just bought 2 Rugged Ridge 2" lift kits for an XJ for 50$ brand new. A friend was selling and amazingly enough they're legit. Parts numbers and all match up. I know the front works for my MJ is why I got them. How much will the shackles lift the rear of my MJ? I plan to put a Detour Offroad winch plate on the front with a winch so the front will lower some from that. Do ya'll think that after the front settles down from the winch and all that the front and rear might be about the same lift if I use the 2" XJ shackles? gogmorgo
Depending on how sagged your rear springs are, the 2" XJ shackles could well level out the truck a bit from the factory rake, at least with the front spacers installed. I think XJ shackles are 1" shorter than MJ shackles, good for a .5" drop in height. After tossing a bit of extra weight on the front it might actually not be too bad. 1.5" lift or so on both ends. Knucklehead97
Perfect! It might not look to bad with my 235's either then :D I just gotta save up for the winch plate/winch while keeping enough cash in case an AX15 shows up lol.
