40"s!!!!

Good morning all, i just ordered some 40x12.50x 15s for the rig. I was wondering if any of had some pictures of how you clearanced your inner fender wells to clear your tires i could use as a poin of reference. Thanks

To clear 40's on a Comanche!? Most guys go 33 or 35's I don't know how you'll get 40's under a Comanche, other than a heck of a lot of lift, at that point pounding over the pinch weld shouldn't even matter.

I had 37s on my last xj. I'm building a monster long arm kit and tubed n trussed 33 spline jk 44s. I'm sure I'll have to get creative with the sheet metal work.

I tossed some 44x18.50 TSLs on my MJ for fun,looked like other than longer bumpstops and a little trimming they would work on it.

 

Its got 6.5-7" lift and sits on 37s normally.

how much lift do you plan on running?  that will dictate how much trimming you will need to do.

It could steer with them so with bump stops it would probably be driveable.

 

Those also dwarf 40s,I think my truck could run 40s the way it is.
