DrewWalden
I am wanting to replace my shocks, and I am wondering if my MJ is lifted. I believe it has spacers on the front, and shackles on the rear. But, I honestly have no idea if this is stock or aftermarket. I have searched for pictures of stock Comanchee suspension and have been unable to find anything. Thanks for the help!
Minuit
Looks like someone has added a coil spacer. It also looks like it's missing the rubber isolator at the top of the spring. Here's my unlifted 2wd from the same angle. There should be rubber on the end of the bump stop (the part going through the spring). They tend to crumble apart and fall off. Your rear suspension looks stock to me, so someone probably wanted to level it out with the spacer.
DrewWalden
Thanks for the quick response. Any suggestions for making this old truck drive like new? I think the shocks are bad. When I hit a pot hole my steering wheel shakes violently for a few seconds. It eventually settles down, but it is scary when it happens.
