  1. A few weekends ago I decided to check my compression. The jeep has horrible blow by. The other night I was messing around with the PCV I removed the hose that goes to the manifold and the jeep revved. When the PCV hose was removed from the manifold smoke started pouring out of the fresh air intake part of the valve cover. Plugged the hose back into the manifold and everything went back to normal. That being said, I was concerned that I had a possible head gasket problem I decided to do a compression test. Results of Compression Test: 1 = 125 2 = 140 3 = 143 4 = 145 5 = 130 6 = 150 Here is how the spark plugs looked when I pulled them out for the test. What do you guys think?
  2. Thanks for the quick response. Any suggestions for making this old truck drive like new? I think the shocks are bad. When I hit a pot hole my steering wheel shakes violently for a few seconds. It eventually settles down, but it is scary when it happens.
  3. I am wanting to replace my shocks, and I am wondering if my MJ is lifted. I believe it has spacers on the front, and shackles on the rear. But, I honestly have no idea if this is stock or aftermarket. I have searched for pictures of stock Comanchee suspension and have been unable to find anything. Thanks for the help!
