CRM1988 Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 Just installed new clutch kit, slave cylinder, and master cylinder. I have bled the system but still does not feel right. Clutch feels good when not running , but when started it is not so good. Pretty sure I bled it out good, but it is still hard to get in gear sometimes. Noticed the other day that when i was facing downhill it was harder to get in gear. Any help would be appreciated.
cruiser54 Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 Try this: Pump the clutch pedal about 40 times and walk away for 10 minutes.

Thought you meant jack the rear end up like that in your pic and pump it 40 times. Cause I have read somewhere when bleeding to raise the rear end up higher and I didn't try that.

Just sit in it and do that. LOL.

cruiser54 Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 That's one of my MJs. #16. I had 13 of them as demos at the dealership and have owned 3, still have 2. 3" lift is about it. I bought it in very poor condition. My 90 is really nice.
