Just installed new clutch kit, slave cylinder, and master cylinder. I have bled the system but still does not feel right. Clutch feels good when not running , but when started it is not so good. Pretty sure I bled it out good, but it is still hard to get in gear sometimes. Noticed the other day that when i was facing downhill it was harder to get in gear. Any help would be appreciated.

Try this:

Pump the clutch pedal about 40 times and walk away for 10 minutes.

Don't think I can get the rear end that high.

Huh?

Thought you meant jack the rear end up like that in your pic and pump it 40 times. Cause I have read somewhere when bleeding to raise the rear end up higher and I didn't try that.

That's one of my MJs. #16.

I had 13 of them as demos at the dealership and have owned 3, still have 2.

3" lift is about it. I bought it in very poor condition.

My 90 is really nice.
