proper control arms, longer swaybar links, bumpstops, and figure out what's up with the driveshafts.  those are some seriously ugly welds on those shafts.

Do you think I can get away with running short arms? Or do I need to go long arm with the amount of lift on it? Yes I will install proper bump stops, thinking about getting some ACOS to replace that lift puck.

Driveshafts? What the welds aren't suppose to look like that? Yes I agree they need a good looking at, I see me talking with Tom Woods soon.

What is your goal for the truck? Street, trail, combo? The truck looks cool on those tires but I'd be tempted to go down in tire size and lift to make the truck more street friendly and trail friendly (without cutting out wheel openings etc.).

Those stock arms with that much lift must have messed up caster something terrible and make it handle real nice going down the road!

My goal for the truck is a dual purpose rig both trail & street. I am going to leave the tire size that is on it and build the rig around them. I don't mind cutting the fenders and already plan on it. Will be getting some aftermarket flares at some point.

It rides like a buck board wagon if you've ever had the pleasure. I knew new arms were a must when I bought it just not sure what I need. Long or short?

How is the front bumper mounted?

I'm not sure how it mounts but it will be coming off as soon as I can get a winch bumper for it. Then I'll be looking for a new home for it.

Pete,

Who makes drop brackets for the Comanche? The only ones I have found so far that say they are for our trucks is from Rocky Road Outfitters.

Well I finally got the truck off the trailer today. Had planned on doing it yesterday but we had a major snow storm come thru and it was just too nasty out.

After I unloaded it off the trailer I got my little girl (she is 13 so not so little) to come out to the truck for a drive. I gave her her first lesson on driving a clutch. We stalled a few times but she was getting how to let the clutch out and not stall the truck by the time we got back to the house.

yeah, bumpers need more support than just those 6 bolts if they are ever to be yanked on.  unlike wranglers, that's all just sheetmetal in that frame.

I would avoid RRO (have a history of poor quality and bad service) and go for rubicon express or rouch country drop brackets.

Going to HATE it when it comes time to remove this exhaust. Thank goodness for a plasma cutter.
