Factory Fog Light

Anyone changed the Factory fog lights with LED or another type of light? Mine are shot so looking to replace them.

This is weird... I was JUST looking at mine a while ago and wondering the same thing. I was thinking that LED would look out of place or too modern on my MJ but I haven't really looked around for any that look like the fog lights that come on there. Curious to what other say

I'm an olde pharte so I think LED accessory lights look out of place on our old trucks. But not LED head lights of course.   :yes:   I've had accessory driving lights for years (Hellas) but seldom used them. We get pretty good morning fog around here so I swapped in a pair of old school regulation amber fog lights like the below recently. They really help and I think look better than the rectangular lights too.

I love old school but I also like seeing new technology mixed with the old rides when done right.

 

Ive seen this mod done and wondering if anyone has done this mod with turn signals, also the price of the new led's at 17-30 dollars is hard to beat.

Me too, but I'm all for converting all the other stuff (turn signals, parking & tail lamps, interior lights, backup lights, etc.) to LED equivalents.

No matter how much I read through DIY and search I always seem to miss a couple great write ups

Torn on this one...there is so little to merge the two.  All the manufac. just want to sell you new stuff. 

 

Leaning waaay towards mik666 and hornbrod.  Great mix on both their trucks!

 

With my old skool grill guard and roll bar I have already wasted $30 on some rectangle lights that are just too small. 

 

Really like the size of those mik666 has on the front for my roll-bar.  There is a guy around the corner from my office that has

a pretty mint early Dakota and has some about that size on it's factory roll bar.  Think they are CIBIE. 

 

My other choice was 6" rounds.  Two up top on the roll-bar, two on the grill guard.
