3inch lift advise

Recommended Posts

the above budget boost can be done cheaply and easily (the hardest part usually being dropping the front axle far enough to weasel the coils out and in).  bumping up to a 3" starts to adjust the geometry of your suspension and now involves trac bars, control arms, swaybar links, shocks, brake lines, add-a-leafs and more.  If price is a concern, you can't beat pucks and shackles.   You can probably do 2" pucks up front and have a level truck, but that depends on how tired your leafs are.

If your tires are rubbing on your control arms, switching to WJ arms will cure that.
