dboisen
I am working on the a/c on my 89 cherokee 4.0. The previous owner converted it over to 134a. I hooked up the gauges with the engine off and the pressures are 80 psi on the low side and 75 psi on the high side. I started it up and turned the ac on max cool with fan on high. The compressor clutch engages but the pressures don't change much. The low side increases by 2 or 3 psi and the high side stays the same. I am not getting any cool air. Any idea on whats going on? Is the compressor bad? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

Marine1Texas
could be a bad clutch, could be a faulty expansion valve. If your going to replace any parts make sure to replace the filter.
