GregM Posted April 12, 2015 Share Posted April 12, 2015 1989 Jeep Comanche 6 cyl Build Date: 6/89 Mileage: 77,626 Location: Redondo Beach, CA -> West Lafayette, IN Recently purchased from the 2nd owner, who puchased it from a friend of mine. I bought it because of the low miles and I needed a decent 4WD pickup truck back in Indiana for when I'm back there doing some property maintenance and to run around on the 'Back-40'. Just completed lots of deferred maintenance: Fluids, Idle Air Control Valve, Neutral Safety Switch, fuel filter, rear wheel cyinders, axle seals, 3rd brake light bulb, reglue mirror, brake hardware, rear wheel bearing, TPS Sensor, water pump, replace missing rim, new Firestone Destination A/T tires, replace missing center caps, etc. The 1st owner took great care of it, the 2nd owner, not so much. Interior is still pristine, although it needs a new headliner for the second time. Passed California SMOG today, has a problem with the front axle nasty noise that we'll work on next. Silver paint, long bed. Has been repainted once, but needs another repaint. Could use a right front fender too.
