So here is the start of a long project.....

1989 MJ Renix L6 4.0

Rustys intake kit w spacer

Everything else stock or made stock from the J yard

30 front 35 rear

170k original miles

New trans

I'm thinking of going all Rusty's offroad with this one. I've been doing a lot of shopping and reading and from the census I think that's the best way to go for the money and quality.

4.5 lift w 31's is what I'm thinking. Any suggestions? I'll keep this post updated as I go along.

I have rusty lift and I really don't like it personally. It's not terrible but to each there own..I also did go up a few inches higher tho. POST PICTS WHEN YA can!

For me when i started my build i got a 4.5 rubicon express kit for cheap. wheeled it for a while. then went to a custom long arm and a 8.5 lift. If it was me look at BDS or Clayton and start with their long arms. it will ride smoother and handle better. With jeeps it is a learning process, it may be a bit more money at the start but your jeep will be better off.
