XJ lift for my MJ

hey everyone i have an 86 and have been looking for a 4.5" lift and recently found someone wanting to sell me a 5.5" for the same price so it intrigued me. I'm just a little nervous about it because I'm wondering how well it will fit and what I'll need to get it on and if its worht it in the long run i suppose. thanks

The front should be fine, as the MJ's and XJ's front suspension is identical, however, depending on what type of lift your being offered it won't fit on the back.

Front components will work, leafs on the rear are no good. Totally different design. That much lift takes a lot of extra parts to make work properly. Some info on the lift would be helpful
