Twisty
I know this isnt technicaly general discussion, but it doesnt feel technical either. I trimmed up the front, but I'm not sure if I like it. I think that I could have gotten away without it. Should I continue with the cut/fold in the rear? Not quite sure I should, I know I will not rub with these tires with the bumpstopping. I'm debating pulling the fenders from the parts XJ and putting them on the MJ. What should I do???????????????????????
Pete M
It's close enough to be tech. :D XJ rear flares are a bit smaller than MJ rear flares. Does that make the choice any easier?
Twisty
Thanks Pete, honestly, I was unsure where to put this one. I meant the front fenders, not the flares. I think I'll go ahead and cut...hopefully I don't destroy the whole thing............. :brows:
87manche
don't cut the rear. I cut mine out pretty substantially to fir the 34's. It wasn't needed, they would have fit with 3" of lift and a small amount of bumpstopping.
JOMJ87
The only trimming you might need on the rear is just a the bottom corners. I only had to cut a tiny bit but now I'm going with TJ rears so i will have to cut more. Cole
fiscus
I think the front looks odd cause of the cut-down factory bumper. Get/make a bumper that wraps down under the corner lights & it'll look 100% better.
