Bensquire Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 Purchased a 1989 Comanche Eliminator, with 142,000 miles on the odometer, with the thought of doing a project build. The truck is 4.0 I6, 5 speed manual transmission (AX15), RWD, Short Bed, Metric Ton package, Dana 44 in rear. Truck bed and sides in great condition with only minor surface rust on the top rail of the bed sides. Of course the drivers side floor pan and rocker panel are rusted through, but I do have a brand new floor pan and rocker panel that I purchased from Rock Auto that will be included in the sale. Also, the driver's side cab corner has rust and will need to be fixed and/or replaced. The frame is very solid and this will make a great project for the right person. I do not know how to attach photo's to this post, so pm me and I will send them. I will not have the time to complete the project due to an unforeseen family situation. Asking $1,000/best offer/barter. Thanks!
gr8tires Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 Hello, If truck is still available, I'd like to know if you'd swap some new tires for part of cost? If so, pls send a few pics of outside and inside. Does it run, and everything work?? Title in your name?? Thanks
Bonkers Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 I hope things work out for your situation Ken, if shes still for sale after the holidays (and a closer offer doesnt appear in the meantime) youre going to be one of my first phone calls. Such a shame youre so far out - this side of Pittsburgh Id probably already picked it up...
